About the Team
As the Finance & Strategy Associate for Growth you will play an integral part in growing Opendoor. You will dig deep into our data to discover opportunities to shift marketing investment and own many forecasts central to our operations. You will be playing a major role in developing our strategy at a critical juncture in Opendoor’s evolution.

Role Responsibilities

    • Building trusted relationships with key cross-functional business partners within marketing.
    • Fostering a deep understanding of what drives topline growth for Opendoor.
    • Partnering with the business to support strategy and decision-making. 
    • Work with the marketing team to identify and prioritize partnership opportunities.
    • Owning key forecasting and budget models central to our core operations.
    • Owning monthly and quarterly Budget vs Actual reporting and ensure a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reporting as well as providing key business insights and perspective outlooks.
    • Quantifying risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts and explaining variances to forecasts. Create ad hoc analysis/sensitivities to understand potential outcomes.
    • Monitoring P&L lines during monthly financial close and discuss variances to forecast and conduct research as needed.

Skills Needed

    • A minimum 4 years of finance or related experience. 
    • Prior experience in marketing or growth role a plus.
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite / Google suite.
    • Intermediate level SQL experience.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Low ego, stellar work ethic and highly self motivated.
For CO Residents Only, and in accordance with C.R.S. Sec. 8-5-101 et seq., the estimated base salary range for this role is $67,000 - $132,000 per year. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.  Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.  For questions about this, our pay philosophy, and other available benefits, please speak to the recruiter if you decide to apply for the role and are selected for an interview.
