As a Strategic Client Executive in the Mortgage vertical at Notarize, you will focus on strategic sales and account management of large residential mortgage lenders within your assigned account base or territory. You will identify and articulate how Notarize can unlock significant value for our customers and truly transform with our technology that powers a fully digital real estate transaction. As an early member of the sales team at a growing startup, you’ll have the opportunity to help define our sales and account management process, participate in strategic planning, and help develop the sales culture. Our ideal candidate will have a consultative selling approach, demonstrated success building long-lasting strategic relationships that expand the business and demonstrate long term value for the Client, and a solid track record of achieving new sales and renewal/retention quotas.
 

As our Strategic Client Executive (Mortgage Finance), you will:

    • Manage and run complex Saas sales deals from initial contact to close 
    • Qualify opportunities by understanding the key business drivers and needs of the accounts -- effectively articulating & aligning Notarize’s value proposition with client needs.  
    • Be proficient in all aspects of mortgage closing operations, warehouse lending, secondary market execution, and investor delivery.
    • Execute on all aspects of the sales experience while building relationships with key decision-makers at top prospects and customers in your territory or assigned account base.
    • Shape and execute a strategic go-to-market plan of the Notarize product with a compelling pitch, presenting demos and guiding prospects through the buying process.
    • Cultivate and nurture current customer relationships to grow the business, identify emerging needs, and to achieve high customer satisfaction that results in customer retention and referrals. You will host periodic strategic account reviews.
    • Partner closely with teams such as Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success to deliver a world-class customer experience and maximize revenue.
    • Generate and accurately manage pipelines for reliable forecasting; build and maintain strategic account plans, maintain Salesforce account record.
    • Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets while being a collaborative member of the team
    • Seek out opportunities to be a driven, creative contributor in a self-motivated, dynamic environment

As our Strategic Client Executive, you should have:

      • 5+ years of applicable strategic sales and account management experience within the mortgage finance ecosystem
      • A proven record of success driving revenue and growing existing business with strategic accounts and brands
      • Experience with SaaS sales and an understanding of APIs
      • A self-starter mentality and an ability to take full ownership of a pipeline, handling multiple concurrent complex deal cycles
      • Strong ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including senior executives
      • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
      • A desire to win and continually exceed performance-based objectives
      • A high degree of integrity and a responsive, team player mentality, with an ability to work cross-functionally both internally & externally
      • Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving orientation
      • An ability to adapt quickly in continually-evolving environments
