b8ta is seeking a Head of Partnerships for our owned & operated stores. This person will be responsible for ensuring the long-term success and healthy revenue growth. In this role, you will establish the relationship with partners and be responsible for managing a team accountable for finding, pitching, and securing partnerships with brands from small startups to large enterprise brands. You will communicate revenue movement (+/-) and the impact it has to the business and cross functional departments.
 
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a rapid growth environment, understand how to motivate a team of sellers and have the experience to close deals. Strong candidates will understand how to communicate clearly, prioritize tasks, create a sense of urgency and perform against set revenue goals.

Responsibilities

    • Define and advocate for the processes and tools that will help b8ta be effective in delivering revenue growth at scale.
    • Align with marketing and communications on how we can work together with partners to establish launch events and 6 and 12 month retail marketing plans to help partners drive traffic to both b8ta locations and b8ta.com.
    • Define the b8ta sales process and establish KPIs for each point in that process, providing you and your team a playbook that allows for a standardization of interventions at key points and transparency into the current status of each potential deal.
    • Identify key points in the sales process that can be enhanced or simplified through technology and drive improvements to systems and tools.
    • Get to know our partners and understand what ROI at b8ta means to them.
    • Develop and maintain regular forecasting for Partnerships team.
    • Work alongside b8ta’s Head of Partner Success to retain and maximize revenue from existing b8ta partners
    • Create and maintain a company-wide feedback loop.
    • Inspire and advocate the importance of our partnerships to the entire organization.

Requirements

    • 7-10+ years of experience in a sales, account management or business development environment
    • Experience managing a customer facing team for 3-5+ years
    • Demonstrate initiative, persistence and ability to close deals
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
    • Positive attitude and fortitude to work through ever-changing and dynamic operational conditions
    • High attention to detail and strong execution skillsTop notch organizational skills and comfort in analytical problem solvingAbility to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
